PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project was a bit different, even for us. First of all, this was the third Japanese restaurant WordPress website we designed for the same client. Actually, this project came about when the owners of two adjoining restaurants decided to join forces and become a single Japanese restaurant. But instead of cobbling the two existing websites together we decided to design and build a brand new Japanese restaurant WordPress website.

The first step to build any Japanese restaurant WordPress website is to take lots of images. Lucky for the client we are not only experienced food photographers; we are accomplished foodies as well! And for some reason this location photography project was very popular with our team. Every time we went to photograph lunch or dinner menu items for this Japanese restaurant WordPress website we got to eat them as well.

The next phase focused on the design of the new online presence. The client did not require any custom functionality at this time. This Japanese restaurant WordPress website is mainly intended as an online menu and gallery, and a way to find the restaurant. Other than the menus text content is limited to the home page. A cheerful color palette and easy to use navigation menu complete this Japanese restaurant WordPress website.

The final phase of the project included on-page and on-site SEO to help the client maintain their existing search ranking. We kept this in mind as we redirected the pages from the no longer required second restaurant website. To help the client run their new and improved restaurant we take care of their new website by hosting, updating, and generally maintaining it as part of our website maintenance services.
